About Us

Mind Retreat candles are all home made products, produced in Burnley, Lancashire. They are made using quality soy wax and luxury fragrance oils that are carefully blended to ensure that each and every candle has a powerful scent throw.

Mind Retreat is all about relaxation, calm and mindfulness. Burning a candle can induce a sense of calm and tranquillity, encouraging you to indulge in some 'me' time and a restful nights sleep. Candles should be an affordable luxury and an indulgent treat. We aim to be just this. 

A large part of our ethos is sustainability. We work with some local stockists who share our ethos by offering completely packaging free products. We have introduced some inititives such as our monthly boxes. These contain wax melts that are wrapped in eco-friendly tissue paper and are completely plastic free. We also offer a refill service to local customers, who can return any old jars and diffuser bottles in exchange for a new one, at a reduced price. 

We will continue on our path to source ethical products and reduce our waste and plastic use where we can.
